Because distance matters. Our algorithm stores and processes the distances of every course you play. This vital data allows us to calculate your World Golf Playing Handicap, which will be adjusted for each new course you play, ensuring it always reflects your true potential from any tee.
This is my first time having a Handicap. How are my rounds counted to calculate it?
When you upload your first rounds, the system calculates your Handicap by averaging all your scores, while considering key factors like the course rating, yardage, and par. Once you’ve uploaded more than 10 rounds, we’ll calculate your Handicap based on your 10 best scores out of the most recent 20 rounds you’ve played. This ensures that your Handicap reflects your true potential as you play more and improve.
The Handicap value that best reflects your true playing potential will be determined after processing at least 20 rounds. Once you’ve uploaded 20 rounds, our system will calculate your World Golf Handicap by averaging your 10 best scores from those rounds.
